I only had a couple of opportunities to wear this jacket, but it performed very well. It kept me warm during my bouldering session. The construction seems solid and very durable. Sizing might run a bit big, as a large is my typical size, and this jacket seems a little big on me, but that should work well for layering. I highly recommend this jacket from Escape.
I just got this jacket in a size XL, I am 6'5" 285lbs and if it were any skinner it wouldn't fit. Luckily it's not and it works great! I have great mobility and I can't guarantee quality but it feels more durable than most other similar coats that I've had. I'm excited to see how it holds up! Also, not a negative but just an observation it will definitely keep you warm.

I was going to order the 140 version, but thankfully changed my mind. The 80 was way more than I needed.
It's got pockets everywhere and has been hangin' tough with our mild outside winter climbing. The functionality is very well thought out for cold belays. The more you use it the more you discover. Exposing the belay loop, simple, but genious!

I like this jacket a lot. I got the blue and pink one because I liked the colors and I've gotten a bunch of compliments on how cool it is. I also think the design is ideal. It is a longer puffy which I love; it goes below my butt and keeps more of me warm than most puffy jackets. It also has great internal drop in pockets for gloves or keeping shoes warm. I wouldn't change anything about the design. The construction is mostly good. I like that it has synthetic insulation and the outer shell material seems more durable than some other puffy coats that I have. Unfortunately, the stitching is not good and it has already failed in a couple of places. Aside from the stitching, the only other thing I don't like is the lack of zipper pulls on the zippers. Overall this is a great jacket and with a couple of tiny changes it would be fantastic.
I have only just received the coat and worn it on a few climbs, and the first impression is that it is well-designed, well-built, and will be a fantastic coat.
A medium, which is what I usually wear, seemed a bit big. Probably perfect for layering, which was perhaps the intent in the design, but it fits looser than I would prefer for something to climb in. Just something to consider - if you want a slimmer fit, maybe size down.
