  • A Cushioned Shoe with a Technical Side - Most other approach shoes on the market are great at the technical side, but don't lend themselves to being actually comfortable on your feet all day. We designed these shoes to strike the correct balance between comfort and technical climbing ability.
  • Escape Mountain Performance (EMP™) Foam - Comfort is a key design in these shoes. Starting with the foam, which is based on foam found in many of the popular trail running shoes on the market. This gives a comfortable feel, while also not sacrificing any technical ability of the shoes.
  • Vibram® MegaGrip Outsole - Best in class traction on rock or technical terrain. The outsole has specific climbing zones. Perfect for forerunning for the team trials, or on that sketchy walk-off from your favorite alpine scramble.
  • Durability in the Upper - I don't know about you, but all of our favorite approach shoes in the past seem to fail in the upper before anything else. That's why we increased the durability big time. So feel free to jam the wide stuff in the approach shoes.

  • Sized most similar to running shoes. For a Approach shoe fit, size down 1/2 size.
  • Width is a D width for all sizes.
