Quality

Solid construction, good foam. This lives under my crack machine. The bonus pad is really handy for hard starts on my Mini Moonboard

Great design!

Great crash pad. Plenty of cushion, light weight and durable.

Great pad!

I've taken this on about 10 or so bouldering days so far and it's holding up well. The pads are supportive and broke in pretty fast, the materials all seem durable. The pack straps are BY FAR the comfiest I've found on a crash pad, so this has become the pad which I strap my other pads to. We'll see how it holds up over time but so far, so good!

Exactly what I was looking for

Exactly what I was looking for. Easy to transport and adjust to my fit. Would definitely purchase another and recommend to fellow climbers!

Great value

The pad is great. Good quality and thick. The canvas is a bit thinner than competitors’ pads but it made up for thicker foam.

Incredible

What an incredibly good deal. The pad itself is super thick and clearly made extremely well, and to top it off the extra pad that comes with it is a lot thicker and durable than I expected it to be. You can’t go wrong with this pad, buy it.

Orange blue crash pad

Well over expectations. Much more quality than I was expecting for $180 pad. Plenty of straps, and places for adjusting size. Pad is firm for a heavier climber like me at 185lbs. Extra is a great shoe mat or dry spot for eating. Durable material, doesn’t snag or scuff easily. Great product.

Love it!

Really good crash pad, thick and hard but not too bad for landing. Super light and easy to walk with. The extra pad is excellent and the best thing was that it was less than $200. I'm super happy with this purchase and I will buy it again!!

Crash pad

Pricing is exceptional, delivery was fast and just in time for an outdoor bouldering trip. Escape pad made all the other pads out there look flimsy in comparison. Great materials with thick foam. Love it!

So Far So Good

I've only used the pad under my mini moonboard, but I'm happy with it so far. I'm looking forward to trying it outside soon. The foam seems dense and sturdy.

I had to get one of each color for the vibes. I use these for my home wall and the great outdoors. Love them, especially the extra gap pad.

Great Pad, and super good price!

I a super loving this pad. It's a little detail but maybe my favorite thing is the handle - a big squishy grab instead of the usual little strap, its just so comfy to carry. And the accessory pad gets plenty of use too.
Not to mention it is I think THE lowest cost pad on the market!? I don't know how they keep it so affordable, but good on you guys.

Solid pad

Majority of the time it’s a crash pad couch and it definitely works great for that. Firm but comfortable. It’s a nice addition to my other outdoor pads when you need a little extra protection for your project. The small zone pad is a nice bonus.

Two Stars cause the foam is decent

I would not personally recommend this pad to anyone who is actually a rock climber. Or someone who is going to be on long approaches. No way to store gear at all. As a climber and developer over the last twenty years, I know what it takes to make a great pad. If youre developing or going places that require vigor and strong approaches, you want comfort and secure storage. You want rugged durability. Easy to manipulate while spotting. We get none of that with this pad.
To start, I had a buckle issue the second week that I had the pad. The pouch that holds the scratch mat started ripping as well. It has been a month and there are now three messed up buckles and two tears along stitching. There is also an issue with the webbing used for the straps. They loosen and slide and unlatch on their own.
When I asked for a refund or exchange, they refused. Instead they had me return the shell to be repaired and "upgraded/reinforced." They then asked me to join their athlete team. Around this time the product developer asked if I would help with suggestions for the next model and said they were actually still working out the kinks on the first round of Zones. My recommendations are quite literally what they claim to have upgraded for the new Zone series.
After replacing buckles. After sending it in and having the shell resewn and straps reattched, here I am with a pad less than a year old with only two straps left that are holding on for dear life and have to be delicate with. The hinge and/or middle seam is stretched and loose creating a serious landing weak spot across the pad. My accessory pad blew out (outer shell fell apart), so it's decommissioned. And im still upset that they swindled me claiming free shipping.... unless... you're on the Escape team or relieve their prodeals which nullified the free shipping B.S. leaving you to pay full price anyway.
Kind of feel like they're just swindlers taking advantage of the new found popularity Rock climbing has attained. Hustling gym kids who are making their way outdoors for the first time lol.
Anyways, if you are serious about bouldering, get a Kinetik pad or Asana pad. Both are far superior in quality, have pads in the same price range, and the companies are bouldering specific, meaning they are not gonna send you a shit pad.

Sturdy, Arrived as Expected

Since it's winter, not going out anytime soon but the pad is as expected. Love the extra small pad that came with it. Straps look sturdy, can't wait to take it out to test!
